The Chancel Choir is an adult choir that supports the ministry of FPC by participating in the 11:00 worship service. The formal choir season is September to June with rehearsals on Wednesday evening 6:30 - 8:00, Sunday 10:00 - 10:45 in Rowlett Hall. During the season the Choir accentuates the worship service with an Introit, Anthem, Prayer response and Benediction.

Special music is chosen for the first Sunday of Advent, Christmas, and Easter. Some of the challenging selections that have been performed are "Crucifixus", "Jubilate Deo", "Gloria", Schubert's "Mass in G" and Thompson's "Alleluia Chorus."

During the informal summer season Chancel Choir members may support worship through special music usually performed in solo or as a duet or quartets.

Participation in Chancel Choir is encouraged. If you think you might like to sing come to rehearsal on Wednesday evening, 6:30 - 8:00 in Rowlett Hall.
