Mid-week Supper

July 1998 to June 1999
The Mid-Week Supper Ministry Team is completing the seventh year of providing weekly suppers to the congregation It has been an exciting example of the commitment of the members of the First Presbyterian Church. The suppers facilitate choir practices, meetings, and fellowship. The events are regularly attended by forty to eighty people each week, depending on scheduled events.
The ministry team wishes to offer its appreciation to the many groups and individuals who have so willingly volunteered their time to prepare and serve the ~forty-three meals we had during this past year. It is because of the wonderful cooperation of so many of you that the Mid-Week Suppers are so successful and anticipated by so many.
These groups include: Carl's Christ Care Group, Chancel Choir; Christ Care Leaders, Church Staff, Construction Management Team, the Deacons, Friendship Fellowship Club, IceBreakers Fellowship, Homeless Ministry Team, Jacque Wilson, Jill's Christ Care Group, Joyful Noise Choir, Kerygma Bible Study Class, Lynn's Christ Care Group, Maggie's Christ Care Group, Mail Crews, Mike's Christ Care Group, Presbyterian Women, Rhoby Swartley and Friends, Santa Maria Fellowship, Senior High Fellowship, Seniors (Supper Fellowship Attendees), Spiritual Growth Study Group, Sunday School Teachers, the Ushers, Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study, Women's Thursday Morning Breakfast Group, and the Youth Choir. The MWSMT also prepared and served eight meals during the year.
