Annual Report
June 1998 to July 1999
New shelves were purchased from the downsizing of the Book Shop on Main Street in downtown Boise and moved by Ron Jennings. They were squared up and mounted on the wall by the wonderful Don Miller. Thank You, Don, for all your good work.
The Library is at a point where new volunteers would be welcome. A philosophy for the Library is needed. These two possible goals will be worked on in the fall.
The next thing Kathleen and Marilyn will be doing is to go through the shelf list to bring it up to date: pulling cards for lost books and making cards for books shelved years ago.
We hope patrons of the Church Library will treat it as they do the Boise Public Library and return books promptly. Some of the books have been checked out for months, so as to seem almost lost.
Kathleen and Marilyn attend meetings of the Pacific Northwest Association of Church Librarians to learn better procedures, see other libraries, and exchange information with other church librarians. Marilyn Jennings attended the Pacific Northwest Association of Church Librarians Conference in Issaquah, WA on July 16 - 17, 1999.
