The Communications Commission is one of the five standing Committees and Commissions of Session. Its role is to oversee, in coordination with the other Committees and Commissions, all of the Church's internal and external communications such as newsletters, press releases, videotapes, posters, bulletin board, signs, etc.

Current members are: Lindy High, Katherine Armstrong and Rick Gilchrist, chair.

Major activities of the Commission during the past year have been initiating and providing start up funds for the Church's Sunday morning radio show "Say Some More About That". This half hour show, featuring Pastor Mark Davis, airs at 9:00 a.m. on KIDO (630 AM).

The Commission has been involved with improving the First Press newsletter. Organizational steps have included appointing volunteer Cindy Finch as editor with a staff of advisors/contributors to provide planned direction, unity and propose to each issue. An outgrowth of this has been to move to a monthly publication with more information of value to the congregation.

Newspaper advertising, preparation of flyers about church events and preparation of bulletin boards rounded out the Commission's actions for the year.
